Однако, пишется он по-разному. Мой мозг всегда негодовал, что один и тот же ключ пишется в разных словах по-разному.
Но в случае "право-лево" получается логично.
"Право", грубо говоря, пишется справа сверху
А когда пишешь "лево", начинаешь с левой стороны
